17 Inch Shield

This shield can be used on any size motor yacht over 70 feet
that use mooring lines 1 and ½ inch or greater in diameter.
The shields can be used on mooring lines up to 2 and ½
inches in diameter.
Included with each shield is a set of four plug-ins that adjust
the size of the shield opening to 1 ½,
1 ¾ , 2, and 2 ¼ inch diameter enabling them to
be used on various sizes of mooring lines.
Instructions are included on how to install the plug-ins
to meet the specific needs of individual applications. Picture
shows the “boat side” of the shield with its patented
spring hinge. The “shore side” of the shield is
smooth.
